My muse escapes me.  All the while,  
It assaults and rapes me.   
Or, perhaps, it is not  
My muse at all,  But my own self  
Expounding my fall.   
Oh, how I wish for a muse  Of innocence and beauty,  Not one of oft calloused  
And mindful failing duty.   
Oh, how it harps  
On my soul and my brain,  The perils of my failings  
And my inescapable bane.   
What a freedom  
And liberty it must be,  To have a muse

Dysfunctionally Me...World Mental Health Day was October 10th, and I am sure people around the globe honored it as good people do.  But, tonight, it came to my attention that people around the globe can honor all they want, but have absolutely no clue what it is or what it means to live it.  August 20th, 2008, I was diagnosed as Bipolar I with psychotic features.  Several weeks ago, amongst my therapy and working plan to get “better”, I began dating someone.  Do you tell them you are mentally ill, do you not tell them you are mentally ill, when should you tell them, are the questions that fervently crossed my mind Dysfunctionally Me...

Perpetual MadnessExistence, existence  
Is boring me so.  This dull existence  
Is all we know.   
Day in, day out,  
Always the same,  Watching the moon  
Wax and wane...   
Always waiting  
For that day...  Watching as every  
Tomorrow turns today.   
Tomorrow will be better,  
Or such is the lie,  As tomorrow becomes today  
And we never try.   
Patience is a virtue,  Or so they say...  Merely an excuse,  And a pathetic cliche.   
In such a light,  Patience is a vice,  Like those sadistic wheels  For those sad little m Perpetual Madness

Ever WaitingEleven o'clock it is today,  Sitting alone I contemplate my way.  No one here, but myself,  No one here to prove one's self.   
Such is always my way,  Such is the feature of the day.  I live myself inside my head,  It is true life itself that I dread.   
I look in the mirror and what do I see,  Nothing that could be mistaken as vanity.  Some days better, and some days worse,  And, now I bare my soul in this verse.   
I look in the mirror and nothing do I see  What the masses look for, what is called beauty,  But, inside I see a cache of such splendor,   Ever Waiting

Okay, now that I have spoken out and spoken my mind about World Mental Health Day, back to me...because we, of course, know what is all important... ;)

Sometimes happy, sometimes not.

Sometimes nerdy, sometimes not.
Sometimes hot, sometimes not.
Sometimes chill, sometimes not.
Sometimes smart, sometimes not.
Sometimes amusing, most of the time...not.

Constructive criticism is always appreciated on all my works, whether I remembered to mark it or not. Right now, I would consider myself just a hack, but I would like to progress to amateur poet someday; so, beat me, berate me, mar me, and mold me...
